Urological cancers
Dr Dat has extensive expertise, including training from world leading experts at Oxford University Hospital, in the diagnosis and management of urological cancers. These cancers include prostate, bladder, kidney, urinary tract and testicular cancer. He provides comprehensive, evidence-based care across all stages of disease, drawing on advanced surgical techniques and multidisciplinary cancer management to tailor treatment to each individual patient.
Prostate problems
Prostate enlargement is managed using a stepwise approach that includes fluid modification, medication, and minimally invasive and endoscopic surgery to relieve urinary obstruction. We individualise treatment based on prostate size, symptom severity, and patient preference.
Urinary problems
Persistent urinary symptoms may arise from bladder overactivity, reduced bladder emptying, neurological conditions, or recurrent urinary tract infections. Dr Dat provides careful evaluation and tailored management to improve comfort, bladder function, and quality of life.
General adult urology
We provide general adult urology services that include managing common penoscrotal conditions and elective procedures such as vasectomy, circumcision, hydrocoele and varicocoele surgery.
Robotic surgery
Dr Dat has broad experience in robotic and laparoscopic assisted urological surgery, using minimally invasive techniques to treat complex urological conditions. Robotic surgery allows for precision, smaller incisions, reduced pain, and faster recovery, while maintaining excellent clinical outcomes. Dr Dat carefully selects patients who are most likely to benefit and provides clear guidance throughout the surgical journey.
Kidney stones
We provide specialist assessment of kidney stones, offering comprehensive care from prevention and metabolic assessment through to advanced surgical treatment. Commonly performed surgical procedures include extracorporeal shockwave lithotripsy (ESWL), ureteropyeloscopy, laser and percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL). Dr Dat provides personalised treatment plans using modern minimally invasive techniques, with a strong focus on reducing long term stone recurrence.
